What makes it special?
This Sunscreen has zinc oxide (10%) and titanium dioxide (2%) which are natural minerals that don’t get absorbed into the skin, creating a heavy-duty protection layer.Zinc oxide does not cause irritation to people with sensitive skin. In fact, zinc oxide by itself is commonly used as a topical treatment for minor skin irritations. If you have an inflammatory skin condition, a zinc oxide sunscreen may be your best bet for sun protection.

What does it do?
This Sunscreen with SPF 50 is used to protect skin from the harmful rays of the sun. It helps to prevent sunburn and premature ageing (such as wrinkles and leathery skin). Additionally, it helps in preventing tanning, sunburns and lowers blotches on face. Cricketers,Runners, Cyclists and individuals who spend time outdoors should try to apply sunscreen 10 to 15 minutes before heading out and reapply 4-5 hours. The ideal sunscreens for athletes who sweat are SPF 30 or higher, easy to apply, and water- and sweat-resistant.

Q. In what quantity should zinc sunscreen be applied?

There is no fixed quantity for applying zinc oxide sunscreen. In other words, one size doesn’t fit all. Depending on your skin type and outdoor activity, the zinc sunscreen should be applied. It is suggested that if you apply a good enough quantity of zinc sunscreen on a regular basis then it will work wonders for you. According to the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) guidelines, sunscreen should be applied every two hours and if the applicant is involved in an activity which causes him/her to sweat profusely, like playing cricket, then the sunscreen should be applied once in less than two hours.

Q. How to remove zinc oxide sunscreen from your face?

Face wash and warm water can be used to remove the zinc sunscreen. Any oil, such as coconut oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, etc. can help to remove the zinc sunscreen. Pour a little oil into the palm of your hand, then massage it all over your face. Leave it to soak in for a minute or two. After that, wash your face with warm water. Apart from the oils, you can use a face wash and warm water to remove the zinc sunscreen.

Is zinc oxide sunscreen good for cricketers & sports?

Yes, zinc oxide sunscreen is suitable for all outdoor sports like cricket and swimming. Being water and sweat resistance, it stays on for longer periods of time. It’s the best zinc oxide sunscreen gel for sports or outdoor activities like cricket, football, running, jogging, cycling, biking, swimming etc. You can focus on your performance without worrying about your skin.

Does zinc oxide sunscreen leave any white cast?

A white cast can occur because titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are white in color and work to prevent sun damage by staying on the skin’s surface rather than being absorbed. Although you shouldn’t mix your sunscreen with other products (this could dilute the sunscreen, giving you less protection), it’s OK to lightly layer makeup on top. Use a lightweight foundation to minimize dilution and the appearance of white cast.
